SOFERES Volunteer Opportunities: Make a Difference Today!
At SOFERES, we believe in the power of collective action. Our volunteer program provides individuals with an opportunity to empower refugee women and girls in Dzaleka Refugee Camp through education, skills training, advocacy, and community support.
Current Volunteer Opportunities:
- Education Support Volunteer – Help facilitate literacy, numeracy, and leadership training for girls and women.
- Vocational Skills Trainer – Share expertise in tailoring, handcrafts, agriculture, or other income-generating skills.
- Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Prevention Volunteer – Support awareness campaigns, advocacy, and workshops.
- Digital Literacy Instructor – Teach refugee women and girls essential computer and digital skills.
- Fundraising & Partnerships Volunteer – Assist in raising funds and establishing key partnerships.
- Community Outreach & Advocacy Volunteer – Engage with the community to promote women's rights and empowerment.
- Health & Wellness Volunteer – Support health education and wellness programs.
- Administrative Support Volunteer – Provide office and operational support to SOFERES.
